Legal internship

Are you a motivated master in Belgian law student who is eager to gain hands-on experience? Are you totally ready to deep dive into the legal world of a young, but professional, international and very ambitious company? Are you eager to discover the world of e-commerce? This internship is the right move for you!Our legal department is looking for an intern to support their team. You'll be able to work with our solo in-house lawyer for the Benelux, who is part of the international legal team. You will also get the opportunity to interact with lawyers in other countries and, if necessary, with the legal team of our parent company based in France. You will mainly work on legal issues relating to contract law, commercial and consumer law.

 

You will get the opportunity to gain experience in:

• Assisting our solo in-house lawyer for the Benelux area in his daily tasks
• Conducting legislative research in the field of consumer law and commercial law
• Following legislative developments at the Benelux level
• Giving daily legal assistance to operational staff (drafting of opinions and recommendations, preparation of their contracts…)
• Carrying out the necessary administrative follow-up related to these tasks

Enough about ourselves, let’s talk about you! You are:

• A master in Belgian law student
• Dutch speaking (knowledge of French is a plus)
• Fluent in English
• Organized and detail oriented
• Motivated
• Open for an internship of 6 months or longer, starting in September 2023
• Available 2 or 3 days a week - we are flexible!
