Law degree
You hold a licentiate degree, a Master’s degree or a doctorate in law or in notarial law, issued by a Belgian university or an equivalent foreign degree.
Service agreement
You are bound as a self-employed natural person or as a one-person legal entity, where appropriate through a placement company or a legal services company, by a service agreement to one or more companies carrying out an economic, social, administrative or scientific activity in Belgium in the public or private sector. This company can also be an association of companies or another entity with legal personality.
Legal responsibilities exercised as a primary professional activity
You provide studies and consultations, draft deeds, provide advice on the ascertainment of the legal position and provide legal assistance for the benefit of this company/these companies, their affiliated companies or entities, their associations or their members. Your have mainly legal responsibilities.
You carry out this activity as your primary occupation, being structurally and functionally integrated into the company (or companies) benefiting from it.
Intellectual independence
You exercise your profession in complete intellectual independence.
Practical information
The annual membership fee is 350 € for each calendar year started.
As an associate member of our organisation, you must abide by the regulations concerning IBJ-IJE associate members.
Please note that on the registration form you must tick the box “I do not meet these conditions and wish to become an associate member“.
