Internet is de afgelopen jaren steeds meer een prominente rol gaan spelen in het dagelijks leven. Ook in de bemiddelingspraktijk zien we dat steeds meer gebruik wordt gemaakt van online bemiddeling of e-mediation. In tijden van crisis, moet snel geschakeld kunnen worden. De conflicten en problemen nemen toe, terwijl de rechtbanken tijdens de corona-periode slechts op halve kracht konden draaien. Het wordt dan ook des te belangrijk om alternatieven te kunnen bieden bij conflictbehandeling. Eén van die alternatieven is bemiddeling.
